A monthly seminar on drug prevention was organized by Creative Minds Media in Manchester. Dr. Iqbal, a well-known psychologist, participated in the seminar as a special guest. According to global estimates, about 5.5 percent of the population aged 15 to 64 years used drugs at least once in 2020, while 3.63 million people, or 13 percent of the total number of people who use drugs, suffer from drug use disorders. . It is estimated that more than 1.1 million people worldwide inject drugs, half of whom are living with hepatitis C. Opioids, such as opium and cocaine, account for the largest share of drug-related illnesses. According to the report, users of new platforms with rapid technological innovation to sell drugs and other substances are likely to move with agility and adaptability to the global market, where all drugs will be available and accessible everywhere.
